Subjects covered
Applications are considered in any area of basic, clinical and translational research and are judged on the basis of scientific excellence, innovation and relevance to cancer research. Applications for extensions or renewed periods of funding are also considered.

Eligibility
All programme grants must be discussed in advance with Research Funding staff prior to submission. Programme grant applications are normally considered only from those who hold existing Cancer Research UK funding, although there are exceptions to this. Period of funding
Funding is normally provided for up to 60 months.

Value
There is no set value but the level of financial request will need to be discussed with Research Funding staff prior to submission.
