How to apply
All applications for a Project Grant must be made online using the Application Management System (AMS)
Supplementary forms in conjunction with the Project Grant application can be downloaded from the Resources box on the right, and completed. Once completed, the supplementary forms must be uploaded along with your Research Proposal through AMS.

Applications for PhD studentships on project grants will no longer be considered by the Science Funding Committee after the October 2007 meeting (11 May 2007 deadline). If you are applying for a PhD studentship at this meeting, then please download and complete supplementary form CR-UK DTF (see Resources box on right). After October 2007, all applications for PhD studentships will be considered by the Studentships Sub-committee (part of the Cancer Reseearch UK Training and Career Development Board)
Cancer Research UK funded researchers are eligible to apply to access microarray technology through any of the Cancer Research UK microarray facilities. See Cancer Research UK GeneChip Microarray Service for further details.
If you are intending to apply to access microarrays as part of your project grant application you will need complete and return supplementary form CR-UK MIF (see Resources box on right).

Please note that the deadlines are final and that we cannot accept applications after these days. Applications will be processed in the order they are received up to the maximum for any one meeting. If the pre-set maximum quota is reached before 5 p.m. on the deadline date the applications will be treated on a first come first served basis.
