This Committee (TRICC) reviews, funds and monitors the conduct of translational research studies embedded in clinical trials (Phase II and beyond). It advises the Clinical Trials Advisory and Awards Committee on the importance of the translational hypothesis, and the impact of the translational hypothesis on clinical trial design. In addition, it advises both the Clinical Trials Committee and the Translational Research Committee on opportunities for promoting and improving the quality of the translational research in clinical trials.
