Latest News on Research Council Employees Eligibility:
Following preliminary discussions between Cancer Research UK and the Research Councils, Research Council employees working in Units or Institutes will become eligible to apply for Cancer Research UK grant funding with effect from 1 Jan 2007 for the following:- To apply to November 2007 (August 2007 deadline) meeting of the Population and Behavioural Sciences Committee.
Prospective applicants should note that a total amount of up to £1m per annum will be available across these two committee meetings for the funding of applications from Research Council employees.
Interested applicants should follow the normal instructions for applying for Cancer Research UK grants (see list below). Further advice may be sought from individual Research Councils.
Population and behavioural studies funding is offered through these funding schemes:
- Project grants
Three-year project grant funding in any area of epidemiological, population or behavioural research... - Programme grants
Programme grant funding for a period of up to five years and normally made to existing Cancer Research UK grant-holders... - Small grants
