Research Goals 1. Clarify the role of cis-regulatory elements in regulating Estrogen Receptor transcription.
2. Identify and characterise transcription co-operating factors using novel methods for analysis of in vivo chromatin-protein interactions.
3. Understand the molecular mechanisms of growth arrest by anti-oestrogens, including tamoxifen and subsequently investigate mechanisms of drug resistance.
