Research Goals
To gain an understanding of how signalling through the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways is regulated by a family of dual-specificity protein phosphatases and the role that these enzymes play in determining the response of mammalian cells to growth factors and cellular stress, including agents used in cancer chemotherapy.

A member of the Dundee Co-operative Centre.

Postdoctoral work at ISREC, Lausanne, Switzerland and Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now known as Cancer Research UK) London.
1989 - Joined Cancer Research UK
