Research Goals
We are studying the spatial, temporal and tissue specific regulation of Transforming Growth Factor Beta (TGF-β) signal transduction pathways with a view to dissecting mechanisms of TGF-β mediated tumour suppression and tumour promotion. The goal of these studies is to identify and develop molecular targets for pharmaceutical intervention in TGF-β driven disease processes.
