Research Goals
To describe the molecular machinery that coordinates integrin vesicular traffic during cell migration. We are giving particular attention to integrin trafficking during the invasive migration of tumour cells during metastasis, and are aiming to develop novel reagents to target this process.

We are also studying the role that integrins play in directing the trafficking of mRNA and protein translation during invasive migration. We aim to reveal mechanisms by which integrins and integrin-associated RNA-binding proteins control translational selectivity during cancer metastasis.
