Research Goals
To investigate the molecular mechanism of squamous cell skin carcinoma and melanoma exploiting cell culture and transgenic technology and thereby assess relevant genetic causality, analyse gene synergism and mimic the multistage nature of human skin cancer sufficiently well to establish model systems that stringently assess novel treatment modalities in vivo e.g. gene therapy.
