Research Goals
Our research is aimed at investigating the roles played by microtubules and microtubule-associated proteins in human cancer. At present we are mainly studying the EB1 family of microtubule tip-associated proteins. EB1 interacts with a tumour suppressor, APC. Loss of this interaction may have important consequences for the development of colorectal cancer.
