Research Goals
To understand how TGF-β family members signal to the nucleus and regulate gene expression. To understand the roles these signalling pathways play in early vertebrate development and how they are perturbed in cancer.
Qualifications and Personal History
PhD 1989 University of Cambridge.
Postdoctoral work at University of Cambridge and ICRF: Royal Society University Research Fellow at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research/University College London.
Joined Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now known as Cancer Research UK) in 1998.
