Research Goals
To understand how DNA repair interacts with drug-damaged DNA, how drug resistance evolves following drug treatment, and the relationship between these phenomena and the development of cancer.

Qualifications and Personal History
PhD 1974 Institute of Cancer Research/University of London.
Postdoctoral work at Unversities of Chicago, Gothenberg and Sussex, and the Karolinska Institute Stockholm.
Joined Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now known as Cancer Research UK) in 1981.
