Research Goals
We work on the role of inflammatory cells like macrophages and neutrophils in the regulation of tumour angiogenesis and response of tumours to chemotherapy. We are also developing novel ways to use macrophages to deliver therapeutic genes/viruses to tumours.

Qualifications and Personal History
DPhil. & DSc, Oxford University (awarded 1985 & 2006 respectively).
Two postdoctoral posts and a research lectureship, Oxford University (1985-1996).
Head of Tumour Targeting Group in Sheffield since 1996.
