Research Goals
Our research focuses on understanding the relationship between cancer and the immune system in order to develop novel forms of immunotherapy. We are particularly interested in the mechanisms that allow anti-cancer monoclonal antibodies (mAb) to control cancer growth. It is now clear that some of the most exciting mAb have potential to stimulate T-cell responses that both eradicate existing cancer cells and immunise against recurrence.
