Scientific summary
With support from Cancer Research UK Dr Baum and his group are exploring the mechanisms underlying mitotic cell rounding, the cell cycle triggers that induce this dramatic change in shape, and the effects of mitotic cell shape and mechanics on chromosome segregation.
