INTRODUCTION

In the Chromosome Replication Laboratory, we are interested in understanding the mechanisms and regulation of DNA replication in eukaryotic cells at a molecular level. Much of our work has used the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae which has proved to be an excellent model system. Although most of the laboratory still studies replication in budding yeast, we are now extending our work to study DNA replication in human cells.
