Post-doctoral Fellowships
We are actively seeking Post-doctoral scientists who are interested in Developmental Biology to join our team. Experience with Drosophila is beneficial, but is not essential. Most important is an ability to think and work independently and to interact well with other members of our lab. Candidates usually have at least one first author publication in a high-ranking journal from their PhD. Post-docs at the LRI often apply for their own fellowships through organisations such as EMBO, the European Union (Marie Curie Actions), the Human Frontiers Science Program (HFSP) or the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS). In addition to these, the London Research Institute (LRI) awards fellowships on a competitive basis. LRI fellowships are tenable for three years with starting salaries in the range of £25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience) with an additional London location allowance of £3,450. Interested applicants should send a CV and references to: barry.thompson@cancer.org.uk
