The London Research Institute

The Cancer Research UK London Research Institute (LRI) is one of the world's leading cancer research centres.  The LRI houses 46 groups conducting innovative research into the basic biology of cancer.

With more than 550 staff and students, the LRI also has a strong academic programme and is committed to training the next generation of world-leading scientists.  

The LRI is one of the most generously funded research institutes in Europe, with all laboratories equipped with outstanding facilities.  It attracts outstanding scientists from around the world who come to benefit from excellent resources and a vibrant intellectual atmosphere.

The LRI is located in Lincoln's Inn Fields, a beautiful parkside location in the very heart of central London.

The LRI is a central meeting point for scientists from other London research organisations such as the National Institute for Medical Research, University College London, Imperial College, King's College London and Bart's Hospital.  The LRI also attracts an excellent series of seminar speakers from around the world.
