Fluorescein Di-acetate Staining
- Harvest and spin cells and re-suspend at 10e6/ml.
- 10µl FDA working solution and 50uµl propidium iodide.
- Incubate for 10 minutes at RT.
- Analyse.
Fluorescein Diacetate Stock solution: 1mg/ml in acetone. Fluorescein Diacetate Working solution: 1µg/ml (1ml PBS+1µl stock).FDA is detected in the green fluorescence channel, an alternative dead cell discriminator may be used, e.g. 7 Aminoactinomycin D or TO-PRO-3.
